Operation Jump Start

December 29, 2009

Announcing the Sixth Annual Operation Jump Start VI
Tuesday, February 2, 5:30 – 8:30PM
The Army Navy Club in Arlington, VA

Operation Jump Start is a really cool event where our industry partners bring lightly used business clothing for Walter Reed soldiers injured in Iraq so they can prep for interviews.  One of their big job-seeking needs is suits for interviews.  We also bring phone cards, food cards, Target cards to help them get set up in rooms or apartments.

Many people come.  There is usually live music, food, wine (cash bar)  and much networking.  Price of adminssion is to bring something a soldier might need to start a new career, including briefcases.

Usually there is a bus load of soldiers at the event.  It is a very moving event.

For more information on what to bring, and to register, visit the Operation Jump Start website.
