What is AFCEA?
AFCEA is an international non-profit membership association that connects government and industry in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence, and global security. The Bethesda Chapeter of AFCEA focuses on US civilian agencies.

Our Vision: Young AFCEA Council of Bethesda fosters an environment where young professionals from the private and public sectors can meet, interact and learn from each other.
Why Join: By joining the Young AFCEA Council of the Bethesda Chapter of AFCEA, you will have the opportunity to meet, network, and learn from other young professionals who work either in government and for government contractors, specifically those working in and for civilian agencies in areas of communications, IT, intelligence, and security. If you work in these fields in government or contracting, the Young AFCEA Council will help you make connections, build your skills, and develop a valuable network.
As a member of the Young AFCEA Council you are also a member of AFCEA Bethesda and AFCEA International, with all of the benefits of that membership as well.

Young AFCEA Council membership is open to young professionals in the first half of their career.

• Contact us. Our membership chair will welcome you and invite you to upcoming events.
• Join AFCEA International. Be sure to select “Bethesda” as your chapter preference. Note that many government contracting organizations already have a corporate membership that you may be able to participate under.
