Fiscal New Year Party

At the beginning of October, Young AFCEA Bethesda hosts an annual Fiscal New Year Party at which young professionals from government and industry celebrate the end of the fiscal new year.

Federal Web 2.0 Virtual Podium Series

Throughout the year we offer webinars from the best and brightest in goverment to talk about their projects, successes, and lessons learned in the areas of Web 2.0 and social media. Webinars are free, through the generosity of our sponsors, and open to all who are interested.

Annual Golf Tournament

In May, Young AFCEA Bethesda organizes an annual golf tournament to support the Bethesda AFCEA Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund awards money to students at University of Maryland College Park, University of Maryland Shady Grove and Montgomery College who are majoring in IT and Engineering programs.

Senior Government Executive Dinner

Young AFCEA Bethesda brings senior executives from industry and government together in a comfortable atmosphere to discuss the latest topics in government IT and communications. This event is traditionally held in July.
